Is it just me or is it getting cold in here?

Barack Obama, that paragon of virtue. That saviour we elected to save us. What has he done to answer the hopes of the American people? He has not only continued the Bush administration's influx of troops to the Middle East and proposed to fund abortion with taxpayers' money, now he is also pushing for climate change legislation which will further limit our freedoms:

U.S. President Barack Obama told world leaders at the final day of the Copenhagen climate change conference Friday it is time for 'the nations of the world to come together behind a common purpose.'

Global warming is far from proven, despite (false) claims of consensus within the academic community. Anecdotal evidence about how unusually cold it is this year in my home state of Virginia aside, I find it hard to be worried about potential climate change while our economy collapses and our medical industry threatened with further socialism. Is this a blind? Is Obama trying to make himself the good guy after a largely failed year in office?

While our leaders quietly destroy America at home and abroad, they prey on our guilt. They use climate change proposals divert us from the main problems where our focus should be. We have more to worry about than green house gas emissions and the polar bears -- like our futures. When the economy bottoms out, no one is going to give a damn about seals. Let's ignore the distractions get our priorities straight.

See Old Glory fly, look the other way...

This is a particular brand of stupidity that makes me despair of the American people more than almost anything else: The typical American today is a sheep. Where his government leads he will follow. Those that hide behind their flag and support a corrupt system, while calling themselves "patriots" are nothing more than cowards who will never stand up or call out their leaders though those leaders trample on their rights until they have none left.

This is the most dangerous thing for America. This is worse than apathy. When a government knows that their people will follow blindly if they scare them with phrases like "9/11" or "terrorism," it will do whatever it wants. The people have been silent for too long and set a precedent for the government to ignore their rights and worse than that, they are enabling it.

By continuing to fly the flag and advocate that whatever America does is morally and politically righteous, we become hated around the world. They don't hate us for our wealth or freedom (both of which are in short supply lately); we are hated because our government does whatever it wants, wherever it wants, whenever it wants, calling itself a "liberator" or "savior" and we do nothing to stop it.

All these "patriots" who enable our power-hungry, blood thirsty leaders, beware. You are not saving your country nor are you keeping your children safe. You are allowing these heinous crimes to play out on your watch. This is not patriotism.

Yes please!

Seconds on a failed fiscal policy? Who can say no to that??

Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke is up for renomination and we're headed for another wonderful term of fiscal recklessness, bailouts and denials. Time and time again we're told that nothing is wrong. That the recession is over and the dollar is sound. While they continue to print fiat money and spend countless millions on foreign wars that we should not be involved in.

Alan Greenspan and Ben Bernanke are evil men. And some say Bernanke isn't evil he's just a scapegoat. My answer to that is: Anyone who would take the position as Chairman of the Federal Reserve is by definition a grasping power hungry enemy of the people. He constantly steals from our pockets not only with taxes or rulings but by devaluing our money with his constant printing of a fiat currency.

There is only one way to stop this and to show the American people that the Federal Reserve is a wasteful and destructive branch of the government is to support a bill to audit the fed. H.R. 1207 introduced by Congressman Ron Paul (R) of Texas, to let the citizens of the United States know what is happening to their money. To tear down government walls of secrecy that have been standing for too long. Once the people see and understand the corruption in the Reserve they will know why this institution must be abolished.

And the prize goes to....

Sorry about the lack of blogging over Thanksgiving (too much food). But we're back and running just in time to catch another one of our great leaders blunders.

Remember back in October, when we were all incensed over Obama's receiving the Nobel Peace Prize?? Yeah, that just got more hilarious. This week Obama announced he will be deploying 30,000 more troops to Afghanistan. This brings the total presence of U.S. military there to over 100,000. Sounds like a peaceful move to me!

The POTUS however also said that we will start removing troops by 2011. How come I'm not reassured by this? While the words promise a withdrawal the action kind of upsets the poker face. We have to show him that he cannot manipulate us any longer. Obama has been in office for almost a year. What has changed? We're deeper in debt, a universal healthcare bill with the President's name on it is steadily working it's way through the senate and now we're deploying 30,000 more American soldiers to a country that, as far as I knew we weren't at war with! He promises, uses eloquent language and charismatic gestures and yet the hard truth is that his actions don't match up. We need to stop playing the fool and wise up to this before it's too late.

It's more of the same ladies and Gentleman. All the way back to Vietnam and beyond the call has been the same. We need more troops. Our fearless leader turns out to be the same person as all the flops that came before him. Wake up America. Wake Up!

Kokesh Endorses Year of Youth

"[Year of Youth] will be the largest youth movement our country has ever seen."
--Adam Kokesh: Honorably discharged Marine Corps Sergeant; former board member, Iraq Veterans Against the War.

Adam Kokesh is looking to change the face of politics. And so are Year of Youth. With endorsements from key liberty candidates including Mr. Kokesh, Project 2012 hopes to make a huge difference in youth politics in the coming years.Co-founder Jared Fuller when speaking on the Kokesh endorsement had this to say: "We are proud to have the endorsment of a pro-peace Republican such as Adam; that is to say, Adam's endorsement shows us how trans-partisan Year of Youth truly is. This movement transcends traditional party lines and is moving forward not based on political affiliation, but on the issues whose time has come." They are deadly serious about achieving their goals but cannot do it without our help. This endorsement is a huge step for Year of Youth as Fuller put it in the press release: "Please consider Adam's endorsement as a very solid reason to contribute to Year of Youth today." For Year of Youth to be a successful vehicle for real change in this country it needs to be a tightly knit community with a firm center. To that end they are looking for office space to plant a Head Quarters, as Mr. Fuller puts it "In the belly of the beast." but this goal will take money. So they need us. Liberty minded Americans to take the initiative and help them make a difference. Now we can either choose to stand by and watch as our country goes up in flames, or fight back. It's your choice. As for me, I choose to fight. Are you with us? Do you have what it takes to be a true patriot? 11/5/2012, see you there.

I want you!

What is the number one threat to the rights of young people in America today? The re-institution of the military draft. Recently, I was going on my merry way down the road when I saw a sign that hadn't been there before. It said "US Army now Recruiting". I turned to my friend and said "Hey you wanna join the army with me" he says "I'm good thanks". We both laughed but then he pointed out that I'll be old enough to be drafted in a short time. As I've thought about it, it becomes more and more frightening. When I went to the DMV to test for my permit they had both me and my Dad sign a form that said I was willing to be drafted. And I'm going to be straight with you, I nearly turned around and walked out that door. See I've been taught all my life, that when Uncle Sam calls your name, you turn around and get the hell out of there. It quite frankly gives me the heebie-jeebies that I could be forced to serve the governments war machine against my will. It sounds like something out of a Communist nightmare. But it's happened before and it could sure as heck happen again. Hundreds of thousands of young men were drafted and sent overseas in WWII. They were told they would have the honor of fighting for their country. They went and fought foot by foot to gain European soil back, for Europeans. They fought in a war that they should have been thousands of miles away from, and many of them died. If you like the thought of dying for someone elses perverted idea of a noble cause, then by all means stand by and watch. But if you desire above all else, your freedom, and freedom for your children. Fight. Fight the war that you want to fight. Or you will be fighting the war they want you to fight, and in that one there's a heck of a lot more to lose.

Six year old terroist...

Zachary Christie a six year old first grader in a Delaware public school faced up to 45 days in a reform school for bringing his favorite camping utensil to school.

Clearly now Cub Scouts are a threat to national security...I mean we can't have first graders running around carelessly eating lunch with sporks! This is an outrage.
Apparently when Delaware says zero tolerance they mean it. I don't think I want to live in a country where they suspend a six year olds for bringing his combination fork-knife-spoon to school. I mean, the kid thought he was covering all his bases! Unfortunately what happened to Zachary is not an isolated incident and points to an upward trend in Government control of our rights. Make no mistake if they take away Zach's spork, they'll take away our guns. The Constitution has come to mean less and less over the years and the Bush administration nearly nullified it. We need to stand up and fight for our second amendment rights (not to mention all the other ones they decided to take away) The case against Zachary was dropped thanks to the national media coverage it received and the indignation it aroused. Even though the government has failed, this shows that there are still some of us left in America with a scrap of human decency left. Please, the door is closing, we need to step inside before we get left out in the cold.

Nobel Fail!

Well, when they gave it to Al Gore we all groaned. Now they seem to have taken all of the meaning out of this so called "peace" prize. According to "The Norwegian Nobel Committee's deadline for nominations was February 1, just 11 days after Obama's inauguration." This means that Barack Obama was nominated for a Nobel Peace prize for doing...nothing? That is correct. Our president had not done anything but make promises (few of which have come about as of yet.) And furthermore these promises were inconclusive. Was the change good? Bad? Was he going to nuke Afghanistan? Oh who cares! Put him on the list, no one will think we're pandering! The Nobel Committee lauded Obama's time in office praising him for his: ""extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples," Well everyone knows it's the thought that counts! See Mother Teresa? All you had to do was try to start 610 missions in 123 countries. It's all about the effort! Apparently the Norwegians went insane from being cold all the time. Or maybe it's just a kiss up. Either way, they still made a really bad choice. Let's look at some of the other possibilities how about Ingrid Betancourt? (who was reportedly among the nominees)

"During the Colombian senator's 2002 presidential campaign, she was abducted by a marxist organization and held captive for six-and-a-half years. Since being rescued in July, 2008, she has been dubbed a “freedom fighter” and “symbol of hope.”"

Well gosh, she was just in a marxist prison for 6 years. Obama bailed out GM!

Or Dr. Denis Mukwege:

"Seeing pregnant women arrive at the hospital on a donkey and dying during childbirth encouraged Mukwege to study gynaecology and obstetrics. Noticing that so many women had been sexually abused, he later founded the Panzi hospital in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Hundreds of thousands of female sexual violence victims have been helped so far."

Come on! All the guys does is help sexually abused women! Pssh who cares! Mr. Obama clearly has him beat. I mean, "The buck stops with him!"

This prize no longer has any meaning. It's debatable whether it ever did since it was founded by a dynamite tycoon. That promotes peace! But that aside, seriously, would you mind giving it to someone who deserves it? Or at least someone who did something besides get elected!

DEA Fail!

Many of us know and love Dr. Gregory House. That handicapped, pill popping, narcissistic, brilliant Diagnostician. The DEA however does not Love Dr. House. For those of you who don't watch the show let me fill you in. House had a blood clot in his leg, this caused muscle failure. Now House's right thigh is virtually unusable and in constant pain. So he is constantly shown throughout the show, popping vicodin to relieve his suffering. His boss Dr. Cuddy and his friend Dr. Wilson both confront him on various occasions about his addiction. But a staple of House'e character throughout the show is that he does not change. His habit does not effect his work and he is brilliant despite his problems. This however was no good for our government. A quote from DoseNation says "The DEA has been writing letters to Fox complaining about House's "flagrant use and abuse of narcotics without consequence" ( The network has finally given in. They have allowed the government to control their actions and in doing so have given even our TV shows into the hands of these power hungry bureaucrats. Isn't there a flood or a war they need to be worrying about? Do we not have enough problems in the US to keep them busy? What about the failing economy? Maybe they should take a look at that. Oh yeah, we will! Right after a message from our sponsors.

And here my friends is another massive. Government Fail!

Year of Youth: Project 2012

You've heard of the Ron Paul Revolution and Students for Liberty. But maybe you haven't heard of the newest, freshest edition to the pantheon of freedom. This is Year of Youth: Project 2012. According to their mission statement in their press release:

"Year of Youth, Project 2012 has launched its new website to
help achieve its intended goal of at least 100 victorious youth campaigns for
state and local government offices across the United States in the year 2012."

These guys are serious too. They may be small but every one of these volunteers has dedication. In fact if you go to the application page on their website it instructs you to do a direct about face if you don't have it. Jared Fuller and Cristopher David Pille (co-founders of the project) have made it clear that they intend to achieve the goals they set. They don't expect to launch these campaigns out of no where, they lay out their plan quite clearly in the release:

"Year of Youth’s goal is to field a select number of youth candidates for
state and local offices in 2010 in order to measure the successes, failures,
and problems with running a completely youth driven campaign. Year of Youth
will then recruit, train, and mobilize hundreds of future youth candidates
across the United States in 2012."

They have set a very admirable goal and a realistic achievement schedule. If you have some time (or if you don't) I'd love it if you could check out their site @ they're a very worthwhile cause to support.

It's a small price we pay for liberty and if we will not pay it how can we expect it?

Government Fail!

Why would one entitle a blog "Government Fail!"? Well the answer is simple. And if you entered this blog for any other reason than because it's hilarious when someone fails at anything, you probably know the answer. Because the United States Federal Government has failed. In fact they failed quite some time ago. Clearly however the general populous has not noticed. In the past few years this has been changing. The Ron Paul Revolution swept the nation and clogged our internet connections. Offshoot group s like Young Americans for Liberty and Year of Youth have focused in on specific groups to get the youth of America excited. I have decided it's time to do my part. So I will relate in my upcoming posts, the ever-increasing tide of government caused disasters and catastrophes. They usurp our freedoms and destroy our rights. Yet we do nothing. My main point: to enrage the American people. To long we have sat complacently by while they (quite blatantly) invaded our privacy and destroyed our currency. Listen to the rally call of freedom. This is no joke ladies and gentlemen.
